Alan Parks had struggled with his weight since childhood and admits that his diet was predominantly made up of unhealthy food choices. After reaching his heaviest weight in early 2020, he decided enough was enough and in 2022 started his Isagenix journey. Alan shares his story so far with the hope of inspiring other men like him to make positive lifestyle changes…
“I’d been thinking about trying Isagenix products for a few years before finally deciding to take the plunge. I had heard about Isagenix after seeing a Facebook post about weight loss chocolate and my head was turned.
I knew that if the system worked, and at that point I didn’t, I would be able to make a dramatic change to my life. The IsaBody Challenge® was an attractive way to track progress with the chance to become a winner!
My go to product is the chocolate IsaLean™ Shake, it’s my breakfast and lunch every day. I also use Greens™ in fruit smoothies and Snack Bites as a go to snack at work or to fuel my workouts for an energy boost! I’m excited to try the new IsaLean® Protein Bars!
I am really proud to be named an Honourable Mention for Round 2 of the IsaBody Challenge.
I’m hoping to be a role model to other guys of my age and show them that they just need some encouragement to get started.
My results show that after a lifetime of bad choices and habits, anyone can make the changes to their lifestyle to be healthier. During the 16 weeks, I lost 3st 7lb//22.2kg and I’ve just kept going! I am currently at a loss of 5st 2lb/32.6kg!
Because of my results, I’ve also been able to get into one of my favourite sports; football. I loved playing when I was younger so was keen to get back to playing in some form. I have now started two groups for men of a certain age and size to get back to being active and healthy. I’ve also joined a local gym and been trying to go two or three times a week.
Getting to the end of the challenge was a real high point. I set myself a goal and reward of a meal out if I competed it – so that was a real achievement.
To anyone thinking of doing the IsaBody Challenge, I’d say it’s a great way to motivate yourself. Try to focus on the times and schedule, follow the plan and give yourself a great reward at the end!”

Weight loss should not be considered typical. A study showed an average weight loss of 24 pounds after 12 weeks. Participants took part in a calorie-controlled regimen of Shake Days and one Cleanse Day per week. For more information on the study, see IsagenixHealth.net.
