Over the last few weeks we’ve learnt how e-ShotTM can help you through Cleanse Days*, boost your workouts, and more about one of the key ingredients in e-Shot; green tea. This article will look at how e-Shot compares with other energy drinks available.

Calories

Compared to other energy drinks, e-Shot provides relatively few calories. Many caffeinated drinks available today can provide as much as 200 calories, and these calories don’t tend to provide any positive nutrients such as protein or fibre. Over time, these additional calories can add up, increasing energy intake and even leading in weight gain.

An e-Shot provides just 35 calories, meaning it’s also a great Cleanse Day* tool. It can give you the boost you need without providing you with an excess of calories or sugars, which can negatively affect the achievement of your goals.

Sugar

Many of the calories that we often find in energy drinks are from the sugars, and some energy drinks provide over 50g of sugars per serving.

In an e-Shot, there is 6g of sugars. The sugars are derived from the fruit juices added to create the apple and pomegranate flavour we all love, as well as some additional ingredients included to sweeten the drink. But overall, the relatively low amount of sugar explains the relatively few calories per serving.

Herbal ingredients

The combination of the plant-based caffeine from green tea and yerba mate, along with the herbal ingredients like Siberian ginseng, hawthorn berry and schisandra, is what makes e-Shot such a powerful product.
